Checked Baggage through CDG

Hi,

As part of a LGLOB, I am planning on travelling LHR-CDG-NRT.

If I get a BA flight that arrives in CDG at 9:40am and then depart on the JL flight to NRT that night at 7:05pm, can I get my bags checked all the way through to NRT when I check-in at LHR? Or will I have to pick them up in CDG because I have such a long wait in CDG?

I was planning on having a quick look aroud Paris on that day... but if I have to lug my bags around then I think I will scrap that idea.

BA usually checks baggage through to OW airlines, even on separate PNRs, so you should be ok.

AFAIK unlike NRT, CDG would even allow bags to be checked through when on an over night connection.

Good, I have an overnight on a AF VCE-CDG-DTW @CDG. I know Lufthansa used to do it in Frankfurt but have not flown AF. You could check your bags the night before if you were originating in Frankfurt as well.

Cheers
