Tool for checking taxes.
Re TAXes.
You may be able to plug the ticket numbers into LAN's e-ticket print utility and get a further breakdown of the taxes.
I have a 17 segment LHONE4 paper ticket where this DOES NOT work, but after upgrading the AA segments using AAdvantage miles, the computer printed ticket number does come up with information.
Here's a link to the utility:

I suggest adding Mexicana (MX) and Clickair (XG) to the respective lists as future members, perhaps with (2009) next to them.
And maybe their websites:
http://www.mexicana.com
http://www.clickair.com
And possibly their FT forum:

Posts 166 and 175 from the this thread provide quite a bit of insight into when and how fuel (YQ) surcharges are collected. This might be useful info to have in one of the "stickies" (either this one or the xONEx FAQ).

Someone recently posted a link to a very useful map showing the boundaries of the OW "continents" as defined for an xONEx. I've tried to find the post, but without success. Here's the link: http://www.oneworld.com/content/library/c2852-4_poster.pdf.
I think the map dates from April 1st, 2007, so there could be some minor updates. There certainly appear to be some anomalies: e.g. The Galapagos Islands off Ecuador are shown as part of N. America, which I rather doubt. Nevertheless, it could prove useful as a tool when planning.
Edited to add: Tracked it down - Thanks, serfty, for this

For the few routes that cannot be checked via KVS Tool (such as EZE-SCL), you can use the BAEC website:

For Star Alliance there is a great spreadsheet which shows you which classes will earn you what miles on the various alliance carriers. Is there such a thing for OW carriers?
The StarAlliance one by BlondeBomber is at http://members.shaw.ca/deercroft/download.html and called STAR ALLIANCE MILEAGE EARNING CROSS TABLE.
