AA GSA in SGN: the details

Seeing there's a lack of info on AA SGN I thought I'd post some details I just got. I just spoke to the AA GSA in SGN.

http://www.aa.com/aa/i18nForward.do?...ts/vietnam.jsp

If anyone has ever done a NRT the process is pretty much the same. But do contact the ATW desk first before contacting the GSA as they don't organise itineraries like NRT, they only issue tickets.

1) They are able to take payment over the phone if eticketing is possible.
2) They do not issue paper tickets in advance and they require your physical presence in their office to issue paper tickets.

Thanks! Shouldn't you be busy writing trip reports? And stay away from that shellfish.

He sets a TR standard most of can only dream of! But he should be studying, not worrying about travel! Naughty boy!

Oh, the only thing he should be worrying about apart from studying is helping me with my DONEx's!!

ps Well done on the SGN GSA, now what about MNL?

Correction: He has given MNL info in another thread!

Oh and they also something about eticketing being impossible in many instances of certain carriers serving SGN. Kinda like CMB. I didn't ask what they meant. But how'd SGN cope post mandatory eticketing?

According to IATA everywhere will be e-ticketable As I've said before, many places are years away from being ready to handle e-tickets. It is not credible to expect them to switch by June this year.
