It looks to me that you'd easily make BA Silver but not make QF Gold (both Sapphire) but am not all that expert. BA wants 600 TPs for Silver, QF wants 700 SCs for Gold, so thus:

Code:
		Ba Tp	Qf Sc
Syd	Lhr	330	240
Lhr	Fco	40	60
Syd	Lhr	330	240
Lhr	Bcn	40	40
Bne	Syd	40	40
Bne	Syd	40	40
Total 820	660
If you could arrange to go via the US on one of your trips, and use an AA codeshare flight no. on the transpac flight, then AA US-LHR, you could use the Platinum challenge and get to AA Platinum/Sapphire on the SYD-US flight alone, and 2.25x miles for the whole shebang, for a total of something like 58K redeemable miles on AA, vs. somewhat less on the others.

However with BA you'd also solve the 4 flight rule with your itinerary while you're at it.

SYD-LHR in business is only 220TP on BA!

However, this would still just be enough to make silver.

Right, sorry - inadvertently put down the F tier points. Revised table below.
Code:
		Ba Tp	Qf Sc
Syd	Lhr	220	240
Lhr	Fco	40	60
Syd	Lhr	220	240
Lhr	Bcn	40	40
Bne	Syd	40	40
Bne	Syd	40	40
Total 600	660

One other point about joining the BAEC (assuming you haven't already a member) is that being based in Thailand (assumption again), you can join but will earn Asia Miles rather than BA miles. See this thread from the BA board.

Unless this is a new rule, I don't believe this is the case. Both my fiance and a friend of mine completed the Plat challenge with a LA LAX-LIM J R/T (not an AA codeshare) in 2006.

I forget the exact date the rule was introduced but yes, it is a relatively new rule which has been in effect for several months now. See the AA forum sticky for details.

AA flight nos. or AA metal required after 1/1/2007.

A little confused here - you have two flights BNE-SYD but no flights SYD-BNE - was that just a typo or are you flying DJ back to BNE from SYD?

The oneworld flights I have booked are all part of the CMB-JFK mistake fares. These flights I have posted are indeed one ways, with flights to BNE/SYD before and flights onwards from Europe.

I found a few more orphan LA flights that will bring me up to saphire on BA, but not on QF, so have signed up for BA and will collect with them.

Thanks, as always, for the advice.
