Can this be done more efficiently? (SEA-CAI)

I have a 14 day hold on the following ticket with stops where indicated:
SEA-JFK (3 day stop) JFK-IST (3 day stop) IST-ATH (5 day stop) ATH-CAI (5 day stop) CAI-LHR (3 day stop) LHR-SEA

The trip is booked in Business class except for the IST-ATH-CAI segments. The total mileage cost is 175k per ticket for a total of 350,000 miles, taxes are just over $300 per ticket. The goal was to get to CAI and ATH but willing to enjoy the diversions to needed conecting cities.

I guess my question is can be done via a round the world ticket or something else? It's stands as two tickets, SEA-IST open jaw CAI-SEA with the IST-ATH and ATH-CAI booked as a second coach ticket.

Assuming it's with AA miles, you'd save significantly by booking it as a Oneworld award (see the sticky thread above.) You only count miles between stopovers, so your "official" route would be SEA-JFK-IST-ATH-CAI-LHR-SEA, which comes to around 15,500 miles, which is covered by a 130K mile business class Oneworld award.

Your actual flying itinerary might be something like SEA AA JFK AA xLHR BA IST MA xBUD MA ATH MA xBUD MA CAI BA LHR AA xORD AA SEA or some such, as long as 2 OW airlines in addition to AA (if AA is involved) are flown.

The OW130C award is good for up to 20K "net" miles so you could throw in more stops if you want, as long as you observe the connection/stopover maximums.

Thx, I was able to book:

SEA-DFW-DCA, BWI-JFK-AMM-CAI-BUD-SKG, ATH-LHR-JFK-ORD-SEA

Total cost 130k for OW130C-OW 1 BUSINESS CLASS TKT x2. This will be a nice trip for my parents. Total travel time is about 3 weeks.
