Comparison of OW FFP
Hi,
I am usually a *A guy, but will have quite a bit of trip on OW (mainly QF), so before loosing any miles/benefits, I would like to learn which program is best for me.
In the *A forum there's a comparison sheet of the participating programs, is there anyhting similar "over here" ?
Cheers

It really depends on your class of travel; if not in the most discounted economy, then AAdvantage may be your best bet.
AAdvantage has award redemption rates that are generally a lot better than Qantas'.

AA good for earn-burn ratios, apart from discount fares. e-vips on AA and of course the Gold (OW ruby) and Plat (OW sapphire) challenge.
QF good for getting highest tier of Plat (OW emerlad) on J/F fares
My personal view is that each carrier typically looks after its own high tiers in preference to OW tiers so you are best with status on your most flown carrier.
If you are a primary *A flyer and this is just the occasional OW trip, my bet would be AA so the points you earn are worth more

. I think in general you would want to establish an account with whichever carrier you think you will be getting the most miles on. In your case, evidently QF.
