AONE5 Validation please?

I have been planning an AONE5 ex MRU for the last few weeks with the goals being to fly CX transcontinent US, miles and more miles, visiting YVR, DFW, ANC, Oz, and SA.

This is what I have come up with which the validator says is OK to go.

mru-lhr;
lhr-auh;
auh-lhr;
lhr-yvr;
yvr-jfk;
jfk-sju-dfw;
dfw-anc;
anc-dfw-jfk;
jfk-syd-bme;
bme-per;
per-syd;
syd-hkg;
sin;
sin-hkg;
hkg-nrt;
hkg;
jnb

However I am uncertain as to the interpretation of the restrictions on the SWP routing. I read it that you could only make 1 flight of any of the combinations listed in the restrictions. Is the SYD-BME-PER-SYD ok or does it break the rules? I did a bit of a search on this but couldn't come up with an answer.

Any other comments on the routing are welcome.

Thanks in advance.

According to this post you are breaking the rules.

SYD-PER-CBR,SYD would work, but then it'd be another open jaw, that, with the new rules will put you at 21 segments

Going SIN-NRT-HKG-JNB would free up a segment, but I cant recall whether the JAL SIN-NRT flights are two, or three class - either way its 120 tier points as opposed to 60 for the SIN-HKG - and more miles?!

EDIT: Is finishing in JNB allowed? Or is it one of the perks of entering via Asia?

SYD-BME...PER-SYD breaks the rules because those are 2 transcons and you are only allowed 1.

Wouldn't SYD-BME-PER-ADL-HKG/SIN work? (CX ADL-HKG or QF ADL-SIN)

Just bear in mind that neither is a daily service and the QF is a 2-class flight. CX has F and is via MEL.

But CX ADL-HKG is a single flight coupon, so via MEL is irrelevant.

Or not. There are other considerations that I feel make it worth mentioning.

Moomba, I know you said the goal is miles, but for your BAEC TP's don't forget (and I'm sure you haven't) that if you book your internal Aus flights on the BA codeshares you get long-haul tier points even for a very short hop like ADL-MEL.

Thanks again everyone for the comments.

I have looked at all these options and was considering the CX ex ADL option. If next years schedule is the same as this years then they fly that route on the day of the week I want. However the Oz portion of the trip will be tight on time and inflexible on dates so I didn't want to add a route that was not a daily flight - just in case.

Cheers
Moomba
