Unfortunately the best stuff stays in the country and here in the UK we get all the cheap Aussie wines which most people in Australia would turn their noses up at.

Sadly the best Aussies come out of the boutique houses and rarely make it further than Sydney or Melbourne.

You can try the Australian Wine Centre, they have an excellent selection and can ship worldwide. See their website www.auswine.com.au.

I also look at the wines QF offer in F and J for good ideas.

There another reason to select QF they do have the better wines, though for Champagne CX tends to get my preference.

Its a hard life.....................
