First time OW lounge user - a couple of basic questions
I used up some QF points for an award ticket in J on CX and will be able to use the lounges in SIN and HKG later this week. Apologies for the basic questions:
- with my J ticket will I be able to use the BA/QF lounge in SIN (as I understand it is nicer than the CX lounge)? Or do I have to use the CX lounge?
- this will be my first chance to use the Pier and the Wing in HKG. I have a four hour layover. Will I be allowed to use both?
Thanks!

- You are eligible to use any oneworld J lounge at SIN. More here: Lounge Access by Class of Travel
- Certainly; If you have access to the Wing, you have access to the Pier. The CX agents at one entrance might inform you the flight departs from the other end of the terminal.

Sometimes the QF lounge at SIN does get full, and invokes the capacity restriction; but this only happens at their hub time (lots of BA/QF flights converge on SIN). Note that QF built and runs the lounge (BA pays QF to use it, but it is not a joint BA/QF lounge).
The J section of the Pier is substantially the same as the J section of the Wing (just underground); it is only the F sections that have different amenities. Good exerecise walking between them (and you get to see all the planes, plus some of the shops along the way are interesting).

I asked about this at the Wing when I had a long layover in HKG last year. There was no problem gaining access to the Pier although the Wing lounge attendant stamped my BP with a re-entry stamp.

Refused entry!
Well, this was my first OW lounge experience. The lounge dragon (sorry, she was) refused entry saying that bus pax would have to use the Skyview (sic?) lounge. I stood my ground and produced a copy of the OW website which one of you friendly respondents supplied. Finally I was let in.
Not a good start!!
I have to say the lounge is truly fabulous though...very impressed.
