Mauritius Turn-Around When Already Ticketed
Hi All,
A slight variation on the other MRU turn-around threads.
I will be arriving on the BA 123 from LHR and am turning around on the BA 122 back to LHR. Total ground time in MRU is approximately three hours.
My ticket is electronic and has already been issued, so there is nothing for me to pick-up in MRU.
Is it best for me to clear immigration & customs and proceed to check-in for the BA 122, or should will I be able to use the airside transfer option? How long does it usually take to clear immigration? Do I need to remind BA MRU that I will be doing the turn-around so they have someone looking out for me, or will it be easy to do when I arrive?
Finally, is there a shower in the BA lounge or elsewhere?
Thanks!

Was in MRU Saturday
there is plenty of time for transfer via Premium immigration line
Ground staff exceptionally accomodating for AONE4 ticket
Lounge is good with internet upstairs

Thanks for the info. I will contact my contact at BA MRU a week before I fly.
Btw, anyone else on BA123 or May 18 or BA 122 on May 19?

Why? Because I am starting an Around the World ticket in MRU (cheap starting point for First Class tickets) and, as much as I would like to, do not have the time to visit the country.

But why fly to MRU from LHR for 12 hours and turn around? I suspect you are on duty, but if not
