Booking RJ flights
When I looked at RJ's website some time back I am sure that even though e-tickets were offered one had to go to a RJ office to pay or "pick up" the tickets. I didn't see that note today but I think I have seen that on some other airlines. Is this really the case with RJ and other carriers or is an RJ eticket simple and straight forward like in the US?

This varies by country (RJ has offices in the US, for example, and the US rules would apply). Most credit card companies have some countries designated as requiring sighting of the physical card; it is a fraud control measure. RJ offices in those countries will require that the credit card be brought to their office prior to accepting payment, and issuing an e-ticket. The solution is to buy the ticket from RJ in a different country, or pay by wire transfer and not a credit card.
