Route Check DONE4 ex-CMB

Hi,

I'd appreciate a route check for my DONE4. I'm not entire sure the validator can be trusted (no offence), although as far as the validator can tell, it's OK. I've also checked it against an old star file that I found, and the route seems OK too.

Here's the route:

CMB-HKG-SYD-BNE-SYD-WLG-SYD-JFK-MIA-LAS-ORD-DFW-SFO-LHR-HEL-MAD-LHR-NRT-SIN-HKG-CMB

Points of note:
- I want to use Japan Airlines for NRT-SIN. (This leg isn't till June 08.)
- Stopovers are: BNE, SYD (the 2nd time), WLG, JFK, MIA, LAS, HEL, MAD, and SIN
-The trip begins in June 07, and I'll spend most of the 12 months in WLG, then continue and finish the ticket in June 08.
- All legs after WLG will be open-dated.
- The risk I see is if come June 07 (or whenever I want to have this ticket issued) and Japan Airlines are still excluded in *ONE* tickets, then I'm kind of stuck. I guess I can go NRT-HKG-SIN-CMB and waste one leg...

Anyway, any comments welcome.

Thanks.

The routing is fine for current rules.

The risk is hardly that, the real risk is that the fare will change by June 07 and/or the rules will change (perhaps on April 1). There has been a lot of speculation about such changes coinciding with JL/MA/RJ joining OW. Given today's announcements by OW for new fare products, I'd say it is quite likely that there will be changes on April 1. If you want the current fare, you need to ticket it now. You'd have to give up ORD-DFW-SFO for ORD-SFO and use that to avoid JL. Or you can take a chance to see what the rules and fares will be after April 1, when you can ticket OWE which includes JL.

I don't really get that, you mean give up NRT-SIN for NRT-HKG-SIN?

Yes, which puts the OP at 21 segments so need to drop one somewhere else. Number_6 suggested one to drop that doesn't fall foul of any rules.

Of course, I totally missed the count.

Thanks for your help, especially #6. As an update, the agent can't price it, let alone ticket it at the moment because of the JL flight (no real surprise there). She seems to think it should be OK from April.
