BA OLCI seems impossible with 17+ segments

As I invariably have more than 16 segments on my RTWs I have always been issued with paper tickets. As a result I have never once been able to use BA's online check-in - not once. It appears the system can't cope with more than 16 flights even though the Manage My Booking page brings up the entire itinerary. Choosing seats is slightly less of a problem, though it's never as easy as when I have a regular European return ticket entirely on BA.

Has anyone else successfully used OLCI with a paper ticket with more than 16 segments?

My last OW RTW had 20 flights, was on paper, and I was able to OLCI with BA no problems at all.

I couldn't select seats or check in online for my DONE5 ex-CAI last year and that was issued by BA.

It was re-issued 3 times in total I think - the final time being by BA in SCL and it was re-issued as an e-ticket with about 9 segments left, curiously it worked fine then.

Not too sure why Manage My Booking seemed so reluctant to err.... MMB!

YMMV

I've not been able to OLCI with BA either. When I checked in recently (with only 2 legs to go) I asked the agent what the problem was and she said the ticket number had not been in the booking. Odd, seeing that BA issued that one. She assured me the number was now there for the last leg but OLCI is still greyed out in MMB. (Or is it always greyed out until 24hrs prior to departure?)

The ticket recently issued by CX also shows loads of things greyed out including OLCI and "change date/time" which the ticket, of course, allows. Can choose seats, though.

Same here on AA ticketed ex CAI paper ticket.

I had no problems changing a flight from AA to BA 14 hours before departure. Five minutes after getting off the phone to AA RTW desk to make the change I was able to logon to BA.com and OLCI for the flight.

No problems at all. It might be worth calling BA Web Support to see if they can help out. Number is on the contact section of ba.com

I initially had problems with BA OLCI with a 20-segment paper ticket issued by AA. A call to the BA RTW desk fixed some kind of format problem with the ticket numbers, and then I had no problems from there on.
