*ONE* on Jetstar

Since Jetstar flights sometimes hold a QF flight number, does that mean I can book a Jetstar flight for a *ONE* ticket?

I know normally code-sharing isn't allowed if the operating airline isn't a OneWorld member, but since Jetstar is owned by QF, is this an exception?

If someone can check the latest star file, it'd be much appreciated. (Better yet, post it here.)

The reason I'm asking is normally Vietnam is quite difficult to get to (if at all possible) under an Explorer ticket, but with Jetstar, it may become easier...

Thanks.

It is my understanding that flights on Jet Star are not part of One World and therefore you can get book through AA or other partners and would not receive miles nor be able to redeem miles on award travel on Jet Star. If I am wrong I will surely and quickly be corrected.

In relation to xONEx's the important thing is any flight on JQ metal MUST be booked on the QF codeshare for that flight; e.g. QF389 MEL-HNL is a codeshre on JQ1.

And, as per Viajero's post, they are not available for xONEx tickets sold in Oz or NZ.

OT: Now there's a point, what about tickets originating in Oz/NZ but with a point of sale in another country. (Not that I'd fly JQ on an xONEx by choice ...)
