What type of OW product for this trip?
I am considering flying LAX/DUB/LIM/LAX in J
Is this a One World explorer( 3 continents) tix that I need?
How is this priced? Continents visited or miles travelled?
Seems like this requires a 10 day stay- what are my options on lesser time? I really don't want to be away that long
Am considering LAX /DUB ( either AA via ORD or LHR or maybe AA to vancouver and then BA ex vancouver for the seats)
then IB DUB/MAD/EZE
Then LP eze/lim
then LAN LIM/LAX
Thank you.
I do a few Circle pacific fares, but have never done this type

You'd be better off flying to Europe, starting the RTW there, then going to S America, then N. America, then Asia, then Europe. The good news is that prices in several European countries are cheaper than the US/Canada for J-class originations; the bad news is that neither the UK nor Eire are among them.
Have a look at the sticky threads for more details on the Oneworld Explorer product.
Aside from a RTW, there aren't any effective "Circle Atlantic" products out there, more's the pity.

You could, but it wouldn't - the 10-day limit is before the last international departure (Canada doesn't count, although Mexico does - remember you can't leave the US a second time).

For miles, what about flying LAX-TPE (several cheap J options), then starting a DONE4 from Taipei?
TPE-HKG-LHR-DUB//DUB-LHR-MIA-LIM//LIM-JFK-LAX//
fly some segments in North America when you have time...then LAX-TPE (via HKG or NRT if JL has joined up by then) at some point.
$6573 + tax and fees...not cheap, but fun!
