Help with AONE4 Please!!!!
I am looking at the following AONE4 any advice would be great-
BNE-SYD-LAX(less than 24hrs)-JFK-DFW(less than 24hrs)-LAS-LAX
then break it by going back to BNE then:-
LAX-LHR-(please recommend some stops in Europe) - BKK-SIN-NRT-HKG-SYD-CNS-BNE
Thanks in advance for any help!

Some comments:
1. I assume you'll be crediting this to QFF.
2. I don't think there're enough flights in pure first class. You can buy a DONE4 and get most of the same seats.
3. During your 'break', I assume you're buying a separate for LAX-BNE-LAX? Unless I've misunderstood, I don't think you can break it by going back to BNE. You must travel in one direction with these tickets.
4. Regarding stops in Europe, are you after miles and status credits? I may be wrong here, but I think if there is no first class in a flight, your ticket will be in D. So some good destinations are MCT, HEL, DXB and CAI.
5. For domestic US flights, some of them will be ticketed in A when you buy a DONE if they don't have a real first class, but you don't have that many domestic US flights anyway, so it doesn't really matter.
6. I assume the places you've listed so far are those that you want/need to visit, as a lot of them are just rather short flights.

Agree with the comment above re DONE4 vs AONE4. You are unlikely to get value (unless its not your money).
What are your aims
• Visit the places listed (and not others)?
• Maximise miles?
• Maximise SC to the QFF program?
• Minimum time in aircraft ?
By having the break (separate ticket) , I assume this trip will be done over several months (12 month's max)
A few points to consider
• DONE4's are cheaper in NZ than Aust. Worth taking a BNE-AKL flight if you want to save a few $
• Ticketing on AA is cheaper than QF (less fuel surcharges). Plenty of comments about this on the QF forum and Aust Fequentflyer
• You could purchase in Asia (DONE3) and do a basic BNE-Asia - BNE flight at the start & end
• You will get more miles on the AA frequent Flyer program. (better earn to burn rates)
You can travel in any direction in a continent. eg SYD-JFK-LAX-DFW. Except for SWP, more or less than 24 hours only makes a difference in some airport taxes. You are limited to 2 stopovers & 4 flights in Aust. You have a maximum of 20 segments.
Have a look in the Oneworld forum. You will get more suggestions in OneWorld

I don't agree. The SWP-NA (SYD-LAX), NA-Europe (LAX-LHR), Europe-Asia (LHR-BKK) and Asia-SWP (HKG-SYD) long-haul segments are all available with F cabin, so that is about as good as it gets for an AONE4. Some others may alsop have F depending on the actual flights selected such as NRT-HKG.
