Iberia - BA
Im new in this forum, so Im sorry if im posting in the wrong section.
Im not a very frequent flyer, but I will be. I travel usually around Spain, so I have a Iberia Plus card. Now, Im going to work in Singapore, and will travel sometimes around Asia.
I think that as Iberia is a member of OneWorld alliance, best chance is to travel with companies of the alliance (I think that if I fly in Brittish Airways, as example, I can earn points as it were an Iberia flight). My question is that I have seen VEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERY BIG differences in the prices I can get from Iberia or BA sites from the prices I find in orbitz.com trabber.com or so on.....
So, any advice?
Thanks!

"VEEEEEEERY BIG PRICES" is a big word.
Perhaps if you tell us the route, and date we might be able to assist with an explanation or alternate route?

It would help to know in which class you plan to travel, Economy, Biz, F.
There are many internet sites where you get different offers. Try www.voyageforum.com, to get a first idea.
Nevertheless I am sure some of our peers in this forum can give much better advice

Instead, I get 100% of miles in most classes for flights on IB, so if the mileage agreement is reciprocated, fly Qantas from LHR or FRA to SIN and you'll get all miles credited. Of course in business or first, you won't have such problems.
Hope I could help you.

Thank you
Mmm, my first look in international travels, and I cant believe my eyes.... Certainly I will return to Spain once or twice a year. Don't know the dates, and I was expected to find cheaper flights if i book together the two ways... But not so much difference!!
Best travel found: British Airways : LCG-HTR-SIN (13-14 Feb) returning a random day in June: 1000 . If I take one-way 3500!! How is it possible???
I remember a travel to Torino this year. With Air France I booked Vigo-Paris-Torino and return by less than 300 . Going only to Paris, in the same flight, and return from Paris to Vigo in the same flight was over 550
So I will try to be sure of my free days with company before travelling, and if not, taking for a random day with cheap fare, however I break the travel ticket when Im in Singapore
Qantas has the effect I expected for. Returning a random day is around 650 SP, and going one-way is around 573 SP. Ok, it's better to take round trip, but not cheaper for one-way travel!!. It's a similar price to BA, and I must add the travel to London.
So British Airways is my first priority.
Thanks everybody for helping this novice, and I will help any more info.
Thanks!!
