When I read the thread I see the images (Starting from post #5).
Here What I see when I edit it:
For Clarity, I have replaced leading ['s with {'s.

When you board the stub is removed and the rest handed back to you. This is very important for those down the back, as this indicates what the passenger is entitled to as part of their fare, lose your BP and you may not get fed!

... aren't these external links? aren't the pics actually hosted in a user selected external server (http://www.footy.aus.nu in this case), not in FT's server?

Yes, that's a website I do some stuff upon. However I see the PICs not the links. I'll log out and view that thread as a guest; I will post the results soon.

OK, did that and saw the PIC's embedded within the post; not the links. I am using XP and FireFox2; if you still are having issues, 'tis time to post on Tech Issues Forum!

But the point is not whether the pics are visible or not, that is a minor issue. The original question was about posting pics in FT, and from what I read here you cannot do that. You can post *a link*, but that is quite different from posting the pics themselves; for that the OP still needs to have access to a host site.

.ImageShack may be a good option; however, Flyer Talk has it's own image gallery URL: http://gallery.flyertalk.com/gallery . You can find it under Extras->Photo Gallery at the top of most FT pages.

Edit: Well I didn't post in Technical Issues, but I did some research. Images can be embedded within posts in the Trip Reports forum.
E.g. You should be able to see an image of a white and green liveried Song Aircraft in the first post of this thread, quite a few other pic's as well. If you can't the may be something wrong with your desktop/browser.
