Can I use Alaskan Airline in Oneworld RTW ticket?
Only Alaskan Airline serves LAX - YVR.

No.
AS is not a member of Oneworld.
So, you can not include it in xONEx itiernary.

But on certain times of the year, QF flies SFO-YVR on their own aircraft.

You have to fly YVR-DFW-LAX if you want to go YVR-LAX on a Oneworld ticket. Almost all trips up/down the west coast involve going via DFW or ORD, unfortunately (AA does have SFO-LAX service, and some RJs out of SJC, but otherwise this is a problem area for this type of ticket).

Coach fares on that route can be cheap enough that buying a separate ticket makes sense anyway.

Actually AS' FC fares are very reasonable by most other regions' standards, plus they earn full EQP/EQM on AA, and redeemable miles on BA (but no tier points.) Sometimes it's cheaper to take the (scenic) train to Seattle for around US$30 and fly on AS south from there.

Actually, AS does participate in a RTW - the "Passport to the World" (aka "Flying Dutchman") sponsored by KL/NW/CO/MH/EK/SA/AS et al. Quite Sky-teamy but interesting routes given that COPA and Air Pathetic are also part of the team. Enquiries to AS about the product result in (quoting here) "Huh?"

Thank you for all the information.
Perhaps UA is better than AA along these routes on the west coast.

Indeed, as they have a hub in SFO (and a mini-hub at LAX), UA are much better in the western US than AA.

From Seattle, I strongly feel the AA/AA codeshare network on AS if FAR better than UA in the west.
