Ah, I prefer to fly JNB-LHR its a night flight. I was offered IB but would rather eat rancid tuna salad.
If I take the IB jnb-mad-jfk so I need to go to IB to book the ticket or is it booked through BA? That is something I cant figure out.
Going via cape town is a day flight, and I the friend im staying with at yale is writing an exam on the 15th of dec, and I dont want to arrive there too late on the 15th as time is short, if I arrive on the 14th then gotta find a hotel. Hence the preferance to go out of JNB. Travel agent keeps crying no seats, I keep saying CPT, CPT.
If I catch the day flight cpt-lhr, I can then can then catch a 20:15pm flight to new york, arriving 22:50pm in New York then I have a 1.5 hour train journey to new haven. Thats the problem.
The problem with departing out of CPT, Is the D class fares are day flights and a flight from JNB doesnt get into CPT before the departure date which means I then have to spend a night at relatives or in a hotel.
However if I gotta go via cape town, I gotta go via cape town.
