Ideas for saving 6000 Finnair Plus miles?

Hello!
Some years ago I - unfortunately - enrolled in Finnair Plus as (at that time) it was quite likely that I had to travel to HEL several times a year, using (usually discounted) Economy on AY and SN.
However, soon I noticed that I only got 50 % of the miles when flying discounted Eco (at that time that topic was not that known yet to me ... little did I know
).
Unfortunately it seems like I can't fly to HEL that often anymore, so now I have a bit over 6000 miles on Finnair Plus and have no real use for it. Now I know that probably AAdvantage would have been the better choice (no mileage reduction when flying discounted Eco on AY, no expiring miles) for me, but it is too late.
My first miles on AY Plus will expire in about 2 years. However, for my possible future flights I thought it might be clever to change over to AA. But I feel quite uncomfortable with leaving the 6000 miles behind.
Does anybody have any idea how to "save" those miles by transferring those to another program (maybe via some hotel-program)? It would be possbile to transfer them to Priority Club, but Finnair told me this is only possible in 20k-miles-bundles (which are equal to 10k points then) and that miles cannot be transferred to AA directly.
So I don't know what to do. Shall I enroll in AA, get 100 % mileage when flying AY in futue (I don't know when) and hope that there will be any possibility to save my AY-miles somehow within the two years to come or shall I continue collecting on AY, although it's most likely that I will not manage to get the missing 14k miles (as far as I know it is impossible to buy miles there)...
Thanks for your ideas, any help is appreciated

It seems quite an impossible task to transfer the points.
One thing that occured to me is to use your Finnair Plus account for earning Priority Club miles. Finnair is quite generous. 500 points per night and not 500 miles per stay. Finnair also participates quite often in Priority Campaigns like double miles etc.
Well, with 10 000 points you will only get an oneway upgrade within Europe. 20 000 points would give you a hotel night, rental car or domestic flights in the Uk, Finland and probably in Spain. Or points to transfer back to Priority club. 20 000 Finnair Plus points may be transferred back to 40 000 Priority Club points --> four nights at Holiday Inn express worth about 400.
