IB Aircraft MADness 2/10

I'm sitting in the (nicely-appointed) IB Dali lounge at MAD, and have been since about 11am, attempting to fly to VLC. The 12:35pm flight I was booked on was cancelled for unspecified reasons, and now the boards are showing just about every single IB flight is delayed by half an hour (and occasionally cancelled) due to 'Change of programmed aircraft', 'Aircraft rotation' or 'Crew rotation'. The departure times are also fluid though, the 4:10pm flight I'm now booked on is listed as departing at 5:06pm and travelling upwards. Anyone know what's going on?

Interestingly, I was offered a bus ride to Valencia when my first flight was cancelled, perhaps it might have been a wise option after all ...

The train is not bad. I know my partner has got the direct bus a few times from MAD to Gandia and says that it quicker than flying

An announcement was finally made just before I boarded my flight to apologise for the delays due to 'airspace reorganisation', whatever that may be.

This is a one-time event on the airport history.

Situation will normalize next week.

You arrive much faster by bus to Valencia that by plane . 350 Kilometers on perfect highways without any kind of congestion ... 3 hours max , I guess most of the others passengers took the IB bus .
