At last! Ability to build in overland segments with the OWE desktop tool!
Title says it all.
Have just updated to see this feature added.... haven't seen it mentioned on here so assume it must be a pretty recent change.... nice addition. All we need now is some form of live pricing stream to help us keep an eye on those all important cheap starting points... yeah right!

Unfortunately, the tool counts land segments as same as flight segments.
The tool does not permit an itinerary with 20 flight segments and a land segment.
It also counts land segments for segment limit within a continent.
For example,
LHR-HEL-LHR-FRA//CDG-LHR
is counted as 5 segments.
Am I wrong ?
Or, tool is wrong ?
xONEx rule has changed recently ?

Anyway, this tool still has some problems.
(1) It can find FUK-xHKG-YVR connection, but can not find NRT-xHKG-YVR.
If you put NRT-HKG and HKG-YVR in separate lines, you can not specify same day connection.
(2) It can not calculate or specify extra purchased segments.
(3) DEL-ORD is treated as a transpacific flight.
If you make NRT-HKG-DEL-ORD-NRT route,
this tool says
"You can only cross the Pacific ocean 1 time(s).
You have not crossed the Atlantic ocean.
Minimum number of region [3] have not been reached."

(4) And, countless problems.

I priced a DONE4 ex-HKG using the tool and it came back as HKD 56070 which I believe reflects the September 1 price increase. However, a DONE4 ex-CMB is priced at LKR 523200 which I believe is the price BEFORE Spetember 1. So, is the tool wrong ex-CMB, or has there actually been no price increase?

FWIW, the tool prices an ex-CMB DONE4 at LKR 523,200, but CX in CMB has informed me that the current price is LKR 591,200. So, it would appear that not all of the prices in the tool are up to date.
