Cool Help improving my itinerary- LONE6

I've booked this itinerary (basically to force myself to go!) but feel it could be improved.

lon-mad-uio,scl-ipc-scl-gig-mia-cun-mia-yul,nyc-lax-akl,chc-syd-per-nrt-hkg,bkk-bom,del-hkg-jnb,nbo-lon

The places I don't want to go particularly (but failed to find a decent routing) are syd, mia, akl.

I am starting in Ecuador because of business reasons (madrid was easiest connection).

Some thoughts:
I'd love to get hnl in somehow
How can I get to Madagascar (I know it's not on Oneworld)
Any way of avoiding coming home ever and avoiding fines etc?

You say that you are starting in Ecuador, yet the routiing starts in London. Which is it?

The only way to include HNL in a routing is ...USA-HNL-SYD... or reverse. No if's, ands, or buts. When JAL joins in 2007, more possibilites open up.

The only way to Madagascar is to buy a separate ticket when you are in Africa.

Not completing a RTW has been discussed many times. The likelihood of the airlines determining whether you followed the fare rules is probably slim. However the risk is very high, full fare point to point values which can exceed 3 or 4 times what you paid for the ticket. And they know your credit card number. Its your decision, but you can't complain if you are caught.

Is your itinerary priority to visit the places that you list or is frequent flyer mileage maximizing also important. You don't say.

Lastly, welcome to Flyer Talk....

Welcome to FT S0ck3t. I thought everybody wanted to come to SYD!

(Edited) It would be possible to get to HNL by flying ..LAX-HNL-SYD-CHC-.. however it would mean an overnight stop in Sydney as far as I can see.

To get to TNR (Antananarivo, Madagascar) you can take either a SA or MD (Air Madagascar) flight direct from JNB or MD direct from NBO. Another option (if you still have any segments to spare) would be to fly JNB-MRU once that comes online, then do a return from there, again on MD.

Thanks for the welcomes and the replies. I've been to Sydney before and loved it - but the world is very big and there's a lot to see!

Sorry for being ambiguous. I am leaving from London but flying straight to Ecuador (albeit via Madrid). My route is planned for the places I want to visit ratehr than airmiles - although I will be taking the AA platinum challenge just before I leave for IPC). Free lounge access here I come!

By taking the challenge before SCL-IPC do you mean starting the challenge then or qualifying by then? There's also the issue of reduced EQP earning on IB and BA to consider.

I'll start the challenge SCL-IPC. Not sure I can do a lot about the IB or BA reduced EQP. Not many flight options I could see - but all input considered!

If you start the challenge SCL-IPC then you will not make Platinum until you get to MIA, and the reduced EQP on IB/BA I was thinking about (LHR-MAD-UIO) is not relevant, at least for those segments.

Air Mauritius also flys MRU-TNR several days/week (and codeshares with Air Madagascar on some of them).
