Amazingly enough recently got AA award tickets on JAL in J from LAX to NRT to PVG with rtn PVG, stop in NRT and then on to LAX for August. Tickets (for two) are on hold). Now, companion wants to go to Bali too! Not to mention HK!

Present tickets are 90K each, apparently tickets in J to Bali are 110K. However, after talking to AA desk, because JAL is not yet a full One World member (and because there is no availablility on CK and CK won't let you fly into China on an award ticket) I can't use a One World 130K ticket for this trip from LAX-NRT-PVG-DPS-Hong Kong-LAX.

In different calls to AA I have been told this trip will take 130K and then 150K in J. We each have 130K, not 150.

I am grateful for any suggestions.

I think it's 150 since you will need a separate partner J award Asia 1 - Asia 2.
