Say you want to check a RTW that includes DFW-ANC. Now, because DFW-ANC is a seasonal flight, and the tool is currently "stuck" at a time of the year when that flight was not available, you too are stuck, until the tool is finally updated. You can substitute DFW-ANC with a dummy segment, but that is not very satisfactory. So, here's what you do, with apologies to the software author for taking the liberty of semi-hacking his work: 0. Make a backup copy of flights.js 1. Open flights.js with a text editor (Notepad will do). 2. Find a really weird city pair, one you know you will never ever use. 3. *Carefully* replace the original city pair with the new city pair. 4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for each new flight you want to introduce. Save the file and run the tool. Presto! you have now *created* new flights and can go on using the tool. |

No worries on modifying the flights.js; I autogenerated this from the PDF schedules and sometimes forget to put in some of the seasonal flights. The javascript files are pretty easy to modify to add new rules/fares/etc. If anyone knows of other things missing or wrong, please post them in this thread and I'll update the "0.95" version. |

Again, as far as I'm aware this is a valid xONEx flight.

Lan Peru's GRU-LIM and vice versa flights i don't think have ever been loaded onto the system. Are definitely valid as i'm ticketed to fly them in the next few months.
Also QF's SFO-YVR segment of their SYD-SFO-YVR service, seasonal i know, but i guess it's still a valid flight nonetheless. Oh and BA's LGW-KEF service is not there. Would it be worth adding JNB-MRU given the segment is now in the timetables? Forgive me for what maybe an ignorant comment, but would it feasible to enable a 'seasonal' message next to flights when validating the routing? |

It doesn't seem to be used, but I'm guessing it defines which airlines fly each route. So, I've been ignoring this field as I don't know whether it is important!

LAX-GRU and vv is missing. Thanks.
Also, anyway to allow a transit through NA when going SA to Asia, SWP, or Europe after you have already left NA? For example, LAX-SCL-EZE-jfk-HKG. I think there is a similar rule for a transit through Asia as well. |
