OWE validator now shows base fare

I've recently modified the Oneworld Explorer itinerary validator tool to display the base fare for purchase in the country of origin. The fare will be displayed in the originating country's currency and US$ (using the spot exchange rate as of today, the exchange rates aren't pulled dynamically yet).

Are the fares you use "today's", or an older data base?

Hauteboy, that is a great tool. Fantastic job. One correction you might want to implement. I believe the current rules allow two entries into Europe if one is a transit without stopover from Ghana, Nigeria or Kenya. The validator kicked out nbo-lon-hkg-nyc-lon-nbo, citing that you're only allowed that routing if Ghana or Nigeria was involved. I think it just needs to be updated to include Kenya.

The fares are from:

I wasn't sure if this is the latest.

Thanks for the new Kenya rule, I will add this as well.

Unfortunately that database is out of date. From sporadic reports, there was a round of price increases around 15 Apr, with some from popular starting places significant enough to remove them from the "popular" list.

(If there's a good samaritan with the latest numbers who needs but a little help formatting the data or something, I'm at your service.)

Most ex-Europe fares increased...

Checked with AA today about the benchmark fare DONE4. All Eurozone countries are 6000 euros, except Finland which is 5299. Increase of 750 euros. Turkey is now 5299 euros for DONE4. Still no ex-Iceland fares in the database. Sri-Lanka is still 523200 LKR's.

kanebear was able to access and publish full fare information in January;WearyBizTravlr updated his fine spreadsheet with these prices.

More here: Current Oneworld Explorer Star File.

I believe that since then there have been at least two price change events.

Unfortunately I lost these changes when the host server crashed!
Still working on getting the validator back up; the backup server crashed as well and I'm having to recreate most of the tool.

The link to this tool is dead now. Anyone know what's up?
