Qantas in Q and Cathay in S: Best Programm?

Im flying
ZRH-FRA-SIN-SYD SYD-ADL ADL-PER SYD-CHC AKL-SYD-HBA HBA-SYD-SIN SIN-FRA-ZRH (all in one booking) with Qantas in Q Class and
SIN-BKK-HKG-BKK with Cathay Pacific in S Class.

So far, I collected mile from oneworld-airlines to my Swiss account. After 1th of April, that will not longer be possible. So for that cheap booking classes, which FFP should I choose for oneworld-flights?

I'm living in Zurich, so I thought about an european one. But almost all airlines give 25% or less of the flown miles in thes classes, it doesen't matter? Gives Alitalia 100% for all Qantas flights (homepage shows no details..).

And another question: For the part ZRH-FRA-SIN-SYD in march, I can still collect Swiss-Miles. Is it afterwards possible to collect miles for another FFP for the other fligt?
With other words: One booking, several legs: Possible to collect Miles for different FFP an the different legs within the one booking?

You'll find a lot of information about these "how to select a OW FFP for me" -questions in this forum, usually asked atleast once or twice a month.

I'd say that AA is usually regarded as the best program for deeply discounted economy classes...

Not in this case however; both Q class QF fares and S class CX fares are non mileage earning classes for the AA FF scheme

I stand corrected. One option could be AY's Plus program, they will give atleast 50% points (not miles) for basically all booking classes, if looking for status (which the above ITN alone won't give, though) then there's the recently discussed issue about 4 AY flights per qualification period.

I would definitly consider Qantas.
You get 100% Miles on QF Q and you will get a minimum of 1000 Points on QF-Flights.

S on CX earns no Miles.

Your Miles will be valid forever (instead of Miles and More!) if you have at least an activity (rent a car, hotel-stay etc.).

As form your profile you are based in CH, I would prefer it over BA, IB or AY.
You shold calculate how many status-credits you get with your trip. You may get Silver-Status with an additional flights (maybe on BA).

I would not sign up wiht Alitalia. Do you beleive they survive?
