OW lounge at PRG ?

I have 2 questions :

Is there a OW or a BA lounge in PRG ?
If the answer is positive , than question #2 :

I am PLAT on AA ( saphire on ow ) , flying internationaly into and out of PRG
on CZECH airlines ( Sky team ) . Do I have access to the OW/BA lounge ?

I'll appreciate any info.

Thanks ,

Michael

Hi,

As a PLAT, you need to be flying on a OW carrier to get access to a OW lounge.

IIRC there is no dedicated BA lounge but a couple of airport lounges that are used by the airlines.

Do you have any DL (Skyteam status)?

I think one of the lounges is a member of Priority Pass ( you could ask if you could pay to access the lounge)

Regards

If you can't use the lounge, you might take some consolation in the fact that every time I have been there (which has only been in the morning and early afternoon, so maybe evening is different), it was extremely crowded with people hovering around chairs, waiting for someone to get up and leave.

FWIW, There are two main lounges in PRG.

The CSA lounge is open to SkyTeam and OneWorld elites, whereas the LH lounge is for Star.

The CSA lounge is actually not too shabby with high backed chairs and a nice view over the tarmac. Food selection is not too bad and certainly a lot better than at some European airports.

As some other posters have mentioned, as you are flying a SkyTeam airline, you will of course require SkyTeam Elite Plus to be able to gain entry. OW members can only access the lounge if departing on a OW member airline.
