Effective date for $125 re-issue fee
What is the date from which newly issued xONEx have a $125 re-issue fee rather than the previous $75 re issue fee?

Certainly for tickets originally issued after 15 August 2005 according to this earlier discussion, and possibly for all reissues after that date (although I would have thought they would remain bound by the original contract for earlier tickets).

Within the last week I was only charged US$75 by AA for a reissue of a ticket last reissued in July.

That may have been in error though. Hmm. Maybe I should flag that with AA.
On the plus side I think my big scary paper ticket meant I may have avoided extra fuel surcharges. Certainly it seemed that if I had pushed for re-ticketing with the poor w/e duty lass in Lima I would have had much latitude on the ticketing. Though that would include the possibility of it going all wrong.

In my case it was the AA RTW desk who set everything up for the reissue, including the $75 fee, although the actual re-issue (original ticket on AA stock issued December 2004, reissued on CX stock July 2005) was done at ORD.

If anyone can point us to the new star file with $125 re-issue fee and its date, that would be great.

Not quite a Star file, but the .xls version as published by CX to its agents on 15 August is here: http://www.christen.demon.co.uk/CXRule/OWE15Aug05.xls
