How to do Africa?

Hello FTers

We are taking a break from traveling in Dubai before we purchase and start our LONE5. We had hoped to begin as follows:

CAI-LHR-DAR,NBO-JNB.......

After some time away from this site I recently read that NBO-JNB is no longer available.

We would like to visit Kenya, Tanzania, Vic Falls, South Africa and possibly Namibia as a part of our RTW trip. We were hoping to fly to East Africa from London and then leave Africa from JNB.

Are there any 1W regional flights in Africa that we can use?

Can we go to East Africa, come back to London and then go to Southern Africa?

Are there any discount airlines we can use to get from East Africa to South Africa?

From Africa is it possible to visit Australia before Asia going eastward?

HRE is the northernmost point for BA/Comair service covered by your xONEx ticket.

Not as part of the OW ticket. On your own, sure.

From ITA it looks like Air Tanzania can get you from ZNZ to JNB for around US$300 one way, $340 or so from DAR.

And you know about Africa-SWP-Asia.

It's a pain, isn't it?
