Hi all,
I'm trying to set a quick LONE3 or LONE4 and came across a problem, it looks like it is not possible anymore to do SIN-DPS non-stop.
Checking my archives, in 2003 I did a LONE5 with a SIN-DPS that originally was QF030 when tickets were issued in Jan 2003. When I took the flight in Sep 12, 2003, it was flight AO 7830 (Australian Airlines).
I checked both OneWorld timetable and Cathay OneWorld one to no avail, so it looks like the only alternative is a SIN-HKG-DPS (CX716-CX785)
Does anyone know something about this vanished QF/AO flight ?
Many thanks

AO does still operate SIN-DPS but AO is not an OW carrier so isn't , I believe, valid for LONE fares
According to the BA document ONE fares validity
First/Business/Economy travel valid for Round-the-World (RTW) travel incl open jaw trips via AA/AY/BA/CX/EI/IB/LA/QF operated flights.
Oddly though, the same document lists AO as valid for GLOB tickets

mm... I just came across my notes from 2003 from what I have written it looks like QF stopped operating flights and used its low cost carrier AO somewhere around april 2003. From what I wrote it only does economy.
They probably worked around the rules to allow me to do my SIN-DPS because when I booked it was really a valid QF flight.

QF also used to run SIN-CGK but that stopped some time in 2002. It was a 747-200 iirc. Up until recently there was a CX option on that route, but this has gone too.
