My RTW ticket is sat on the desk..and now some A inventory has become available on a more convenient. Our corp TA has booked me onto this flight which is a straight forward change of flight number and time...no change of route.

1. Do I need to have the ticket re-issued? It is an AA sector on BA stock RTW
2. Are AA's Admiral Club agents up to the task of a reissue or not?

Thanks!

No re issue needed. When I have done this, have taken a print out in the internary with the new date - time (for reference) and just checked in.

I have just turned up for check in and informed them I had changed the reservation (sans printout) - never a problem.

Furthermore, I've had luck in the past by just showing up at the airport for my flightk, WITHOUT changing the reservation. If there's space in the cabin, (even if not in the proper booking class), I've been able to fly many a time.

Methinks they call it "GO-SHOW", as oppesed to a "NO-SHOW"

But confirmed is still always better.

In the past when you had a paper ticket it would have been stickered with the proper flight information. That concept seems not to have made it to e-technology.

Even with a paper ticket I have some changes stickered and other's not. If not stickered made no difference. What was in the computer is what seemed to matter.

Interestingly I was travelling on a paper ticket, but the agent at MIA was profoundly uninterested in the different time on the coupon.
