FF compensation when something goes wrong...
Curious to gather some stories following the whole BA catering debacle earlier on this year and how this may have compared with other major disruptions.
Judging by what I've read (mainly over on the BA EC board), BA compensated its own scheme members (sometimes pro-actively): dependent on tier status, members travelling around the time the Gate Gourmet dispute initially kicked off were offered upwards of 50,000 BA EC miles.
But then it seems BA has been a little reticent when it comes to addressing the complaints of other OW elites, who have, at best, received an apology, otherwise, nada.
So when you've been travelling on a OW airline which doesn't happen to be the one with which you hold your membership, what happened when something went really wrong?
I've seen other stories about the likes of CX giving out US $150 duty free vouchers for broken IFE.
Do you have a story?
