Check out this thread, Best and worst of One World, from yesterday and 8 items further down the list from your thread in the oneworld forum. This has some of the best information I have found on one world J and F comparisons.

The general advice applies, however given the length of the flight the ability to sleep assumes a larger proportion of importance. if you are under 6ft, you will find the BA bed preferable for sleeping on. However the consensus seems to be that the IFE and food is better on QF.

If you are over 6', choose QF, period. You will not be able to stretch out in Club World, and even sleeping on your side could be very difficult. I'm 6'6" and found NCW on BA to be pretty uncomfortable for sleeping (sitting is another story).

I have to agree completely with the above replies.
BA is great if you are under 6ft, or if just happy to sit. I also have to say I like the extra privacy you get with the forward reverse configuration of the BA seat.
However for sleeping (if over 6ft), IFE, catering and general service, QF wins hands down.
Also I have to admit that I like QF's new LED lighting system.

I'm under 6' so I prefer the BA flights, but I do them SIN-LHR on RTW tickets. I always get a window seat for maximum privacy. QF is a close second, especially if you can get an upper deck window seat with the storage bin at your side.

Until BA sorts out their catering mess (see BA threads) I would go for QF. If they (ever) get their services back to normal it is up to preference.
QF is better for people over 180cm but sleeping in a true flat bed at BA does make a difference.
