PERTH - Europe best options?

Planning the following:

Perth - Dubai (4 days) - Paris - Holland/Belgium - Perth

What are the best options if going with OneWorld? Should I get a round the world ticket and go from Europe back to Australia via USA, will not be able to stop for more then 1-2 day though. Or is PER-CDG return possible with a stop over in Dubai. As I will be going to other places in Europe should I leave from CDG again or from where ever I am in Europe at the time??

Any advice much appreciated.

xONEx

Perth - Dubai (4 days) - Paris - Holland/Belgium Perth
A few suggestions. With a xONEx RTW you are allowed 4 flights in SWP, Asia, Europe & 6 in North America. (20 flights max) You get 4 flights in Oz, but only 2 stopovers. These can be up to 12 months after the first flight
xONEx RTW are generally good value, especially in business class.

PER-SIN-LHR-DXB-LHR-CDG-LHR-JFK-SYD-PER (SWP-Asia(x)-Eu-NA-SWP)
or
PER-SIN-LHR-DXB-LHR-CDG-LHR-JFK-HKG-PER (SWP-Asia(x)-Eu-NA-Asia-SWP)
or
PER-SIN-LHR-DXB-LHR-CDG-LHR-YVR(Vancover)-HKG-PER (SWP-Asia(x)-Eu-NA-Asia-SWP) (to avoid transiting in USA)
or
PER-SIN-LHR-DXB-LHR-CDG-LHR-JFK-HKG-PER-MEL-SYD-PER (SWP-Asia(x)-Eu-NA-Asia-SWP)

(x) = transit under 24 hrs in SIN
In Europe buy flights or go by train to other destinations.
What class of travel are you considering ?
Do you want to maximise QF miles and or QF Status credits ?
Also consider AA freq flyer program. Burn rate for rewards is much lower than QF
AA flys from several different European cities to several different US cities, giving more options thans LHR-JFK or LHR-LAX/SFO

Try www.bestflights.com.au for other options.

Doesn't answer your question, but you might want to look at a ticket on Emirates as well. You should be able to get a stopover in Dubai and a ticket back to Paris on the train from either Brussels or Amsterdam is pretty cheap.

Excellent suggestion, IMO. EK fares Oz-DXB-Europe-DXB-Oz start around USD1200 and allow for at least 2 free stopovers.
