HELP - Where to book DONE4 tickets??

Have just called BA thinking that I could book ex-WAW/CAI/IST/GIB etc. for a RTW in october and the agent said he could only book ex-UK.
Where is the best place to book a RTW? and what would be the best starting point?

Am going to a wedding in CHC and since I am going that far thought i would try and visit some friends I have in that neck of the woods (AKL/SYD/CFS/HKG/YVR/YQT - but have a voucher from NW to get me from MSP to YQT!)

Was thinking of a route something like:

XXX-LHR-CHC-AKL-SYD-CFS-SYD-HKG-YVR-MSP-LHR-XXX

Would this work?

Expert help needed please!!!

Thanks

Duncs

You would have to rearrange your SWP segments a little, and add a few connecting segments here and there but, yes, basically it would work.

How would I need to change the SWP segments? which bits need changing??

I figured there would be a few connections - i guess it is a case of picking the timings most suitable when booking.

Where do I book the ticket though?? through BA or a TA? if TA - which ones are good for RTW??

You are allowed 4 segments in SWP; since there is no direct flight LHR-CHC you would probably have to use 1 segment to fly from MEL or SYD to CHC; that leaves 3 free, but your itinerary shows 4, so that's one too many. You have many options to fix that, like taking a surface segment in NZ, or flying AKL-HKG at the end of your NZ visit.

I can't answer the question of the booking because I have no experience with BA issued tickets.

BA in IST are very good at issuing RTWs. Depends on which class you want to travel, though. If you just want Y, then travel from the UK is relatively cheap.
