maximum # of countries on XONE3

Just for fun...what what would be an itinernary that would encompass the most number of countries (touching the country would count) possible on a XDONE4?

Can you get a country (or multiple countries) per segment?

DFW-FRA
FRA-DUB
DUB-LHR
LHR-MAD
MAD-HEL
HEL-BKK
BKK-SIN
SIN-HKG
HKG-NRT
NRT-LAX
LAX-SAL
SAL-MIA
MIA-MEX
MEX-DFW

So this is what they do for fun in CHC?
You can purchase 2 extra segments per continent other than the continent of origin which changes the result. AA has some multi-hop flights that touch other countries in the Carribean but they are seasonal (SXM-SJU-LAX pops to mind); I'm sure there are a dozen other Carribean flights which would touch 2 islands/countries. For Europe all I know about is LA SCL-MAD-FRA is a single flight number but that can't be used on a xONE3 fare (no way to cross the pacific without touching NA).

Yeah, South America is better for this kind of multi country, EZE-SCL-LIM-LAX for example.

In Europe there are several:
LHR-(BAH)-DOH
LHR-(AUH)-MCT
LHR-(BEY)-AMM
LHR-(BEY)-HBE
LHR-(BEY)-DAM
LHR-(BEY)-KRT
LHR-(AMM)-KRT

Europe to Asia:
LHR-(GYD)-FRU
LHR-(EVN)-TAS
BAH-(DXB)-HKG
HEL-(BKK)-SIN
HEL-(BKK)-HKG

Intra-Asia:
HKG-(BKK)-CMB
HKG-(SIN)-CMB
HKG-(BKK)-KHI
HKG-(BKK)-SIN
HKG-(BKK)-BOM
HKG-(SIN)-CGK
HKG-(TPE)-NRT/KIX/FUK/NGO
HKG-(TPE)-ICN

Probably some others I'm missing...

I REALLY REALLY REALLY wish this thread was never started. It now adds a complete new complexity for me in building my "ultimate" RTW. Before I just wanted status miles. Now I want status miles AND countries. Argh!
