I am BA SILVER. so OW ticket would be most suitable.
I need to go from SNN to PEK, HKG, SLC, back to SNN. Ideally I would fly to PEK through LHR with BA, then down to HKG with Cathay, and then to the US with Cathay (LAX?). Go through PHX to LHR to SNN with BA then.
What the hell type of ticket could I get?
I should add that I want a business class ticket.
Thanks in advance.

You want a DONE3 One World Explorer ticket. ("D" = business class, "3" because you'll be passing through 3 continents - Asia, N.America, Europe.)
The ticket price depends on where you buy it and begin/end your RTW trip. If you buy it in Ireland you'll be paying almost the highest price charged anywhere for that particular product. If you can handle a short trip to Gibraltar, you can buy it for around 2400 Euros less than in Ireland. All of eastern Europe, even the rest of the Euro zone is cheaper (the main part of the Euro zone is priced consistently at around 1500 EUR less than Ireland.) Even buying it in the UK saves you over 600 EUR. Don't look for logic in this, just review the sticky threads at the top of this forum and pick your own convenient pick up place. There is a lot of good information in them, worthy of some study.
Note that the DONE3 ticket provides for a total of 20 flights, with some per-continent flight and stopover limits, so if you wanted to do more flying you could quite easily.
There are numerous routing alternatives to your core itinerary, the one catch being that AA service to SLC is all via DFW or ORD, so your flights to/from would involve a change in both your Pacific gateway city (LAX, SFO, YVR for CX service) and ORD or DFW.
Returning, you could use BA from ORD, or make your way overland to PHX or DEN, or again use the one-stop routing via DFW or ORD to any other gateway city.
You would be allowed 2 stopovers and 4 segments total in Europe, the last one being to the country of issue, so if you wanted to go to SNN and then wait to return to the sale point later, you could, provided you do it within a year.
