RTW versus Circle Pacific
I have been examining what i could do with the RTW versus the circle pacific fare...
one of the items i would like to explore is lanchile down to santiago and then across to auckland
however, the oneworld schedule does not show this as an allowable schedule.
i only chose 3 days, is this a highly irregular schedule?
it would be an interesting start to the trip, based on my coach (i would do business for this trip) experiences for lanchile

Yes, LA does fly SCL-AKL, but not daily. Using the OW timetable you can look it up in the City/Airport Timetable Screen (the button to the right of the one with an airplane icon).

Circle
Your route US-SCL-AKL is entirely valid on the circle fare. You might have to watch for seat availability in L class if you are on the "coach" ticket in economy. You might want to stop somewhere else on the way to SCL so do not forget the possibilities of any other AAmericaan destinaation in South AAmericaa.
From AKL then you could either route up to HKG or trans-Tasman to Australia. Week on the beach in Bali or Cebu? Then you have AA or CX trans Pacific into the US or Canada. You could do Australia-Hawaii-continental US from memory but you would be missing most of Asia and I cannot remember if they allow this on Circle or not.
Have fun, keep on posting the routes here for review if you want.
Happy landings.
