Hotel at CAI?

What's the closest hotel to CAI airport? I'm doing an overnight turnaround, so just want whatever's handiest. From my studies, the Sheraton Heliopolis looks fairly close; I just wondered if there is a real airport hotel, like the LHR-T4 Hilton.

thanks!

I think the Sheraton is your best bet. I don't know of any proper airport hotel at CAI and, from my observations, would very much doubt it.

You'll get it when you see CAI.

Another vote for the Sheraton

Make sure you book the Heliopolis - not one downtown. I think pre-pay rates are ca. $75. If you include your arrival flight details on your booking there should be a man with a list of names (hopefully with yours included) on a hotel clipboard waiting in the meet & greet area before immigration. He'll ease your path to the hotel bus. No checked baggage and $5 should see you on an express transfer bus for one

My experience has been that if you get in late (say on the BA flight) there is no one from the Sheraton present and you have to make your own way there. When you check-in, book your space on the bus for the way back as it often sells out.

I arrived this month on the BA flight & the meeters and greeters were there. No sure if you meant that the flight was delayed?

Maybe a question of time of the year?. Right now BA arrives at 22:30, but during 29APR-29SEP BA 155 arrives at a less reasonable 23:55, and Saturdays at an even more inconvenient 00:10.
