Hi All,

Well I finally started my DONE4 adventure and am currently in Brazil and am having a great time - Carnival was spectacular and the weather sure beats a cold and rainy London.

I have now decided that I want to change my ticket from GIG-SCLx-LIM-SCL-AKL to GIG-SCLx-LIM//EZE-SCL-AKL. I am currenlty in Rio and have the option of going to a LAN Chile office in the centre or to BA at the airport. As I need my ticket to be reissued who would you advise I go to for this very complicated proceadure - My ticket was issued by BA - any advice?

I also just found out that my debit card was copied while taking money out of an ATM - over 2000 pounds stolen - This means the hassle of getting a police report and call long distance to the fraud department - though I have been told that I should get my money remibursed - So please be careful when taking money from an ATM

I would opt for BA, based on my experiences with LAN, albeit, in Chile rather than Brazil.

Well after reading all the negative comments about LAN I was a little concerned about the reissue. However, I have never met a more friendly and willing office and agent in RIO.

Clutching my ticket and a copy of the *files I was ready to argue every disputed point. Though I was not ready for the "yes sir" "that will no be a problem sir".

The person in question was an expert and told me that he reissues 5 such tkts a day (mostly L class) and the reason he does it is that no other airline is willing o do it in Rio?!?

So when in Rio do no hestitate to reissue in LAN centre office
