Need help-May be a dumb Question?

Hi, I am ready to book my 3rd rtw which is -
Bos-sju-dfw-lax-akl-bne( one flight #)-syd-per-mel( on2 flight #)-hkg-nrt-lhr-ist-lhr-dxb-lhr-
then I would like to go Lhr-lax-dfw-mia-bos
But is that considered back tracking?
Also is lhr-lax non- stop-considered a trans cont flight?
I know these questions must be dumb, But I have tried to go back and examine others itn but to no avail so Please help me, Thanks, Sara

No it's not backtracking, and no, LHR-LAX is not a transcon. You're not showing any N. America transcons in your itinerary. Be sure to watch your stopover count in N. America (2 max.)
