Help with RTW routing

HELP!! I am about ready to loose me mind! I thought that a AONEX would be a great way to get my business travel done, save some money AND get to sit in first class due to the cost savings. Unfortunately I am not as "creative" as some of you on FT and my travel agent has only booked one of these before as is intimidated by the process/rules (I do not have an option on travel agents).

I have searched this forum and feel confident (maybe too strong of word) that I can get what I need done with buying 2 AONEX tickets plus an additional biz ticket to UE. I could really use some input to help me make the most of this experience--especially to get the best flights in first class and better routing.

I am an AA exp and would like to earn on AA but fly CX and BA where possible.

here is where I need to go:

RDU--NRT Jan 26--Feb 1 (for work/mandatory) AONE 1
NRT--HGK--BKK, (for fun/flexible) AONE 1

BKK--HGK--JFK--RDU, (feb 4,have to get home) AONE 2
RDU--NYC--LAX--SYD (april 2, work/mandatory) AONE 1
syd--lax--nyc--rdu (april 12, have to get home) AONE 1

RDU-NYC--FCO (april 22--30, vacation, flexible) AONE 1--can I do this?
FCO--NYC--RDU AONE1

RDU--MCO (may 13-17 work mandatory--but can pay for separately)
MCO--RDU

RDU--NYC--Stockholm (June 1--5 work/mandatory)AONE 2
back to RDU

RDU--DFW--HNL (june 15--20 work/mandatory) AONE2
HNL--DFW--RDU

RDU--LGW--Majorca (july 1--9 work/mandatory) I would need to by either a third AONE ticket or a straight business ticket for this

Majorca--LGW--RDU

RDU--MIA--Patagonia(where in argentina do you fly into?) Sept 29--Oct 2 work/mandatory. Can I use one of my existing AONE tickets?

RDU--LGW--ATH (NOv 6-15 work/mandatory) ATH--LHR--Shanghai (Nov 17--20 work/mandatory) AONE2

Shanghai--HGK--JFK--RDU Nov 20 AONE1

I also will be having an additional trip from RDU--beijing (or somewhere around that area for work but the dates are still up in the air). Would it be best to do 3 AONEX's? and start one in US/EU/AP?

As you can see I am very confused about this process. I would be grateful if you guru's on FT can help me out with some suggestions on what the heck to do with this (for me at least, most of you would think this is child's play) unwieldy mess!

Thank you for any insight you can give me

MAybe I'm struggling to understand, but what I see here is that you are contemplating:

AONE1: RDU-NRT-HKG-BKK//RDU-NYC-LAX-SYD-LAX-NYC-RDU-NYC-FCO-NYC-RDU

and some other stuff.

I'm afraid you have completeely misunderstood what the OneWorld Explorer tickest are about. This is not even remotely close to anything that would be a ONE ticket.

Please read the sticky thread at the top of this forum which may give you a few clues.

I think that you may have missed the point that you have to travel in only one direction around the planet from zone to zone. If I understand you correctly many of the segments that you have shown would require you to backtrack. For example, you could fly to BKK on AONE1 and start AONE2 there but you could not pick up AONE1 again in RDU. You would have to travel back to Asia and continue westbound from there.

It might help if you rewrite what you want to do by routing 1 and routing 2.
