Caught with an invalid routing

The reissue itinerary:

PER SIN HKG (stop - come home rethink)
HKG LHR IST (stop) LHR (stop) PHX DFW (stop)
BWI (stop - 2nd ticket to) DFW OAK (stop) DFW (stop)
AUS LAX MEL (stop) CHC (stop) BNE MEL

Actaully I'm a little disappointed that the "feature" that caught me out is not more prominently displayed on the one world web site. It is (well) buried in the Star file notes. And maybe I read over it in the FAQ.

FWIW, I would suspect that xONEx reissues at Perth QF are far better than than the average as reported in this forum. And yes, as unhappy as I am with QF I will give them credit where it is due.

If the quirk is not noted by one of the experts - in a day or so I will "spill the beans" and request the FAQ thread be modified slightly. Probably only ever affects Aussies and Americans.....

It does detect the error.....
though getting the validator on my PC was an "interesting"
exercise..... maybe I should stick to servers instead of PCs.

I re-checked the FAQ - it is NOT mentioned.

Reentered the country of origin twice? I haven't read the sticky but would be surprised that it's not in there.

Rather cannot leave the country of orgin once returned
if I recall the Star fare file...

I did search on the word origin in the FAQ and found only references to continents.....
Maybe some oneone better than I can find it.....
IF not.... please add it...

BTW, the QF local xONEx reissue fee (above and byond the US$75 one world charge) is AUS$75.....

Thanks for the reminder. I haven't worked on this in awhile.

It's now available at http://jph.bytestacker.com/award.htm
The only update is calculating old/new Qantas SC earning for segments.

Cannot leave country of origin once returned? There was/is a rule that said one cannot fly beyond the city of origin. It would be difficult to exercise certain 'privileges' e.g. originate in North America, travel to SA, pass through NA again without stop, enroute to e.g. Asia.
