How to get 15,000 OW bonus?

Hi all.

Just discovered that I'm taking CX and AA this month. I know there's a 15,000 point bonus for flying AA and 2 partner carriers by end of November. I thought I might fly Qantas from SFO to LAX, but they will only sell that ticket in conjunction with an int'l flight.

Can you think of any creative/cheap routings on any OW partner other than CX? Thanks!

I think that rather depends on where in the world you are! If you are coming through HKG then the AY hops in Asia might be good (HKG-BKK or BKK-SIN)

What about EI? There have been some cheap econ and biz trans-atlantic fares recently. Depending on where you are based may be doable for a weekend trip.

I need one more OW trip to qualify for the 15,000 miles. Anyone know the cheapest MR from NYC using a OW airline, other than AA?

Please note that 'cheap' tickets are not possible with this promo. Fares must be H, B, Y in coach to qualify for the 15K promo.
