Iberia To Keep First Class

Just talked AT LENGTH with IB personnel in NYC. ALthough there was some talk about IB discontinuing its first class service on long haul routes as of NOVEMBER 1, this will NOT happen. I am on IB 6274 this week in first and was told that service will be FIRST, not business as reported in this forum ....GOOD NEWS!!!

Great News!

How is IB 1st class like? Never seen a report from them...

I was thinking of taking them to JNB... but alas BA First was what I chose..

I don't know if it means anything, but IB's web site will only let you book a First Class ticket until late december 2004; if you try any date after that it shows a message saying the service is unavailable, giving you only J or Y alternatives.

I think you made the better choice going with BA. I flew BA to JNB in F recently...it was excellent service. I'm still wearing my BA pajamas!
