I think you'll find that the QF intra-Europe codeshare flights are either near-impossible to book or priced at a level which doesn't make sense, unless you're combining them with a long-haul BA/QF ticket or a RTW product.
For those based in the UK without travel plans during the qualifying period I would suggest three weekends away using BA, AY and IB. Or you could be slightly cleverer about it to reduce the number of trips you need to take: eg a BA return to ARN or HEL, plus an AY return ex either of those; alternatively BA to MAD + a return MAD-LIS with IB.

QF and the offer
Hi,
Just checked with potential Mrs S and she thinks that all the short haul QFs ex-LON can only be booked in association with a long haul ticket.
If you were really wanting to take part either (i) do the BA EC thing and get a freebie (ii) if you were really naughty... book a MAN to LHR to SIN all on QF, get to LHR and then offload yourself and go for a refund. No as far as I am aware that breaks the odd rule but I doubt that the International Court of Airline Fare Abusers would argue too much. Might end up stiffing you for a full fare on the MAN to LHR, which at the end of the day, costs the same for a single as the value of the miles.
Buy a 1W RTW, fly a QF codeshare sector on BA and then hold the rest of the ticket for later?
Try a QF codeshare in the US?

Markie I'm impressed about the timeliness of the bonus miles posting. Us QF'ers have been told it'll be sometime between qualification and end of calendar year 2004....
