DONE4 tax Calc

I am planning on the following DONE4

SYD-HKGx-LHRxEDI-LHRx-LIN-LHR-DXB-LHRx-CDG-LHR-LAXx-MIAx-BOS-ORDx-LGA//JFK-HKG-SIN-HKG-NRT-HKG-AKL-MEL-PER-SYD
(x denotes transit stops - less than 24 hrs, // denotes open jaw)

Just want to know for the EDI-LHR and CDG-LHR (Return) I am planning to purchase a seperate BA Ticket for them. Do I still need to pay th EXTRA LHR landing fees if it is not part of the DONE4? Therefore 5 sets of LHR fees compare to 2 sets.

Also if someone wouldn't mind can they work out the tax of the above for me!! (as I find my agent ALWAYS stuff up the calculation on DONE4!)

BTW, how much are the LHR landing fees and tax??

Thanks

Hi.. your agent does NOT always stuff up the taxes. He/She simply follows whatever the issuing airline gives him/her. All the calculation is done by them..
Similarly, even if you issue the tickets seperately, the taxes cannot be cross-referenced. So if you have another set of ticket, the taxes are independently of whatever the ticket costs. Just FYI - everytime you fly from LHR to a non-EU city, on a Business/First Class seat, you will be looking at a GBP40 departure tax.

Do you think then it is worthwhile that I use the Oneworld Visy Country Pass instead of getting a seperate BA Ticket (80 Pounds is quite a bit!) so that the landing charges?

No my agent does stuff up because everytime I finish with the trip he always refund me 100-200AUD and he said it is because of tax... But anyway Do n't really care as I get $$ back

I believe that your agent is actually giving you a 'discount' on your tickets. there is NO WAY that one can just simply refund the tax back to you without a reissuing of the actual ticket to reflect what has been paid out. Basically it MUST tally with what you paid to what your ticket says. Otherwise your agent will be given a debit memo from the airlines.

Doesn't matter whether it's a VISIT EUROPE pass or a seperate ticket, the taxes will more or less be the same. Taxes in europe are very very high. But then again, so are taxes in Australia!!! I'm doing an award ticket from HKG-x/SIN-SYD/MEL-x/SIN-BKK and my taxes alone are over US$120!!
