MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 20, 2004--In line with the latest industry trend, the LAN airline alliance has moved its New York ticket office to JFK International Airport in order to provide easier access for its passengers. Now passengers can conveniently visit LAN's ticket office located in terminal 4, concourse A at JFK by way of the new AirTrain JFK system from anywhere in the New York area.

The new ticket office is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and can be reached by phone at 718-751-4580 or by fax at 718-751-4537.

The LAN service alliance participating airlines LAN CHILE (NYSE:LFL - News), LAN PERU, LAN ECUADOR and LAN DOMINICANA offer a united spirit of reliability and charm that provides passengers the highest level of service and safety with the complete travel experience throughout the skies of South America.

Did LAN have a Manhattan ticket office? If so, this move is not at all an enhancement in terms of convenience for the passenger, but rather a cost saving move.
